Authors
The Asbury Galleria has hosted numerous authors for book readings and signings over the years. Some of the authors were: Joseph Bilby and Harry Ziegler, Tom Chesek, Helen Pike, Madonna Carter Jackson and Daniel Wolff to name just a few.
Photographers
In addition, the Asbury Galleria has showcased several guest photographers including Milton Edelman, Lobo Jones, Jim Abels, Tom Berg, Stanley Brick and John Cavanaugh’s Rocktography events.
Black History Month
In 2009, the Asbury Galleria held a Black History Month program in its boardwalk location where community members shared stories of civil rights struggles and contributions. Also, owner Kay Harris presented a slide show and narrative of her visit to the landmark Civil Rights Sites of the South.
